High Tatras- Jahňací, Mlynická, Furkotská

For a month pre-planned stay at Brnčalka chalet with climbs around wrecked after a guard at the park place recommended us not to leave our car there because of thefts.

Decision: ascent – return – overnight at Tatranská Strba. We cut the 3:05 hours on map to 2:20. The chalet and its surroundings seizes everyone at the first sight. We drank some beer and set off along the yellow path. At 13:00 we stand on the summit after a quite long and sceneric climb. Some people even sitting there talking in Polish, Czeck, Hungarian. One of the longest stay at the top, the weather without a cloud, we are feasting our eyes on the nearest peaks and farther crests. On the descend we realize the necessity to come back here and do the various climbs to the peaks and difficult ascends to the saddles. The valley of Green Tarn bewitches everyone. The second day: We wake up at 5:30. The sun rises in a cold morning. From Strbské pleso we struck the yellow path to Mlynická valley with a clear aim: Satan (2431m). Ivka was enchanted, Skok waterfall roared. After some tens of seconds we found we missed the turning to Satan foot. Never mind. We would not return back to the Low Goat Tarn. We would do Furkotský Peak. After first sight of Round Tarn we were clear we did not feel climbing Furkoťák either. Nice training hike more for older generations through Mlynická and Furkotská valleys charmed us from some aspects.
