This event was raised during a lift in Dudo´s car to somewhere. I asked him about his plan for the forthcoming weekend.
What about a hike? I suggested Súľov which we had planned for long, or The Slovak Paradise. My brother said YEAH forthwith. That evening I brosed through the web
I my eyes caught a glimpse of top 10 of Slovak Paradise http://www.slovenskyraj.sk/10naj/10naj.html and all was clear.
All began in a shop in Poprad with me, Krto The Only, Dudo The Brotherofme and Jožko The Chauffeur. The other fellows couldn´t partaken.
So what, make-over takes its tax. The beginning went easy way: my brother spent about 20 thousand on clothes and me, some 13 on skis.
It went on at a café with an accompanyment of who other than a little Tiger (Jeremi).
The set-off point - Čingov. We had chosen the highest fall and the Tomášovský vista. We proceeded along The Hornád river below the Tomášovský view.
At the frontier, rangers stopped us asking for 40 crowns as an entry fee with an insurance inclusive which was pleasing. Later, we went on by the
White brook which limpid water we couldn´t see until we had trown a stone into it. There those known ladders and footbridges began to appear.
The weather was fucking bombastic, simply autumn one. To nad fro slight cool winds blew from the valeys but they only could refresh us.
The path was OK, all it began below the fall. One ladder first, a slope then, and then...
Wooow.... when some saw it. "Let´s climb once we are here!" The higher we were the more gorgeous views opened. Close to the top, brother tested the Gore-tex trousers, then, we took some pictures.
We went on along a green path to the Fork under Býkarka, and from there along yellow one to the Klauzy reservoir.
Here we had a rest and scudded to The Tomášovský view to catch the sunset. A sign said it was still some 30 minutes, so
we pelted up a solid steep. When we felt totally exhausted we saw our watches and found out we had gone 6 minutes, so still 24 to be gone.
Watching the steep going up and having gone 5 hours we felt desperate pretty much. But finally, we caught the sun-set. Some more photos, boots ad,
and the way back to the car. All had gone on super, but yet we must have gone astray. But it wasn´t a hiking of ours without that criss-cross aspect.
We were too hungry and on run to go a right way. A dinner should have been a proper satisfaction which took place in a pizzeria in Smižany. We had double
750g pizza which even I failed to eat up (but I wouldn´t have failed: translator´s remark).
Afterwards, just dozing in the car.
